We are a small friendly surgery located close to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and within walking distance of the University of East Anglia (UEA) and city centre.
We are a GP partnership employing practice nurses and a healthcare assistant (HCA). Nurses provide general nursing and specialise in chronic disease management. Our HCA provides a wide range of nursing support.
Our surgery premises, which consists of 8 consulting rooms and benefits from ample parking for patients, was purpose built in the early 1990s.
We are a training practice committed to developing the new generation of doctors. We provide medical training to students from the UEA Medical School, develop junior doctors and enable registrars to specialise as GPs.
As a practice we feel excellent communication is paramount to the wellbeing of our patients and we aim to treat each of our patients in a respectful, conscientious and efficient manner. Our approach has been rewarded in our receiving excellent patient satisfaction survey results.
We also work closely with the charity sector to provide a holistic approach to health care.
We are a part of One Norwich. This is an initiative in which 23 GP practices have come together in a new alliance, the first of its kind in Norfolk. Their aim is to create a stronger GP service and improve care for the 220,000 patients in the city they look after. The practices are independent organisations but they will be forging closer links and working more closely together, to ensure services remain sustainable.
